The membership of the Farm Financial Standards Council elected Deena Brown, lead underwriter with CGB AgriFinancial Services, Louisville, KY, to be president of the organization for its 2023-2024 business year. The election was held during the group’s annual conference held July 26-28 in Moline, Ill. Taking on the role as vice president will be Jonathan Shepherd, Agricultural Extension Specialist and director of the U. of K. Income Tax Program, Frankfort, KY. Russell Morgan, (far right) principal with Morgan Ag Consulting Services, Portland, TN, will serve as the Council’s Secretary/Treasurer. Kathy Reinhardt, CPA (far left) and partner with Reinhardt Farms, Seaton, IL, retires as immediate past president.
Susan Hobeck, Stoy Farms, Ashley, IN, and Michael Gunderson, chief loan officer at Farm Credit Illinois, Mahomet, IL were elected to new 3-year terms as directors.
