Everyone and their registered guests are invited to this special reception to meet the other attendees, visit with the poster authors, and enjoy some light food and drinks. Posters will also be available Thursday morning prior to meeting and during break.

7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast for guests

Noon – 6:00 p.m. Box lunch provided for all registered attendees and guests, immediately followed by optional bus tour to CGB Grain Terminal and Churchill Downs. (Bowler hats for men and Derby-style hats for ladies is encouraged but not required.) See registration section for pricing information.

Welcome – Overview of Agriculture in Louisville and Kentucky
Financial Guidelines and Impact Recommendations – Freddie L. Barnard, Professor Emeritus, Department of Agricultural Economics, Purdue University
Current State of Economy – Jackson Takach, Chief Economist & Vice President-Strategy, Research, and Analytics, Farmer Mac
Afternoon program will end at 4 p.m. to provide time for changing for tour bus departure at 4:30 p.m.
Lodging
A block of sleeping rooms has been set at the Hilton Garden Inn Northeast Louisville, 9850 Park Plaza Avenue, Louisville, KY 40241. There is NO complimentary airport shuttle service and the hotel recommends using Lyft or Uber. Depending on time of day, figure 20 – 35 minutes travel time.
Block dates are July 23 – 27 with a rate of $145 per night, plus taxes.
