Chief Financial Officer: Padlock Ranch Company is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join the management team of a dynamic and progressive agribusiness. This position will also be critical in helping to lead positive change and sustained business success.
Position Focus: The CFO is a critical part of the executive management team for Padlock Ranch and will report to the CEO. This position is responsible for planning, implementation, and oversight of the company’s management information system and overall financial management, including budgeting, accounting, inventories, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include assuring the integrity of information by developing and maintaining necessary controls on company accounting and financial information. The CFO will be asked to play an integral part in strategy development and will conduct analytics to evaluate business opportunities and define and communicate issues important to management. The position will require an understanding of operations and will serve as an advisor to the CEO and the management team on various aspects of management.
- Master’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five-years of work experience in agribusiness finance or related field.
- Experience/knowledge in accrual, enterprise, and cost accounting.
- Good communication skills and ability to function well in teams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills.
- The ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Excel and other software.
- Analytic ability using spreadsheet models and other tools.
