Due to the large number of local events taking place, we are encouraging you to reserve your room early if you plan to spend the night.

You may want to consider extending your visit and seeing some of the nearby sights and events. Our location is right along the Mississippi River and directly across from the John Deere Pavilion with new and vintage equipment displays and interactive activities. The exhibits are regularly updated. The Pavilion is free, but be sure to check the scheduled hours if you want to visit during your stay. It is located next to a John Deere store with quite a variety of items.

There are many nice shops and restaurants within walking distance of our event. There is also a water taxi that makes scheduled round trips during the day with two Illinois stops and two Davenport, IA stops.

Two significant events will be taking place immediately across the river from our location on the weekend of our meeting. The Bix festival includes music festivities and the Quad Cities Times Bix seven-mile race, which brought in more than 15,000 runners in 2022. Also on July 29th, the Ragbrai 462-mile bike ride across Iowa will end in Davenport, bringing in about 8,500 week-long riders and 1,500 day-riders, along with their travel crews. If you are a golfer, be sure to check out the TPC Deere Run at Silvis, IL, which is about 7 1/2 miles or 11 minutes from the airport.

We will be getting out more detailed information for the annual meeting as the details are tied down.
